360. Listen To God, Not Your Heart

1 John 1-5

For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.     Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.   1 John 3:20-21

There is a difference between heart condemnation and Holy Spirit conviction but it is often difficult to tell the difference between the two. Whenever you feel bad about something, do you bring it to God and ask Him what to do about it? He can tell us whether it's something He's convicting us about or something that our heart is guilting us about that isn't something to feel guilty about. Do you bring all your concerns to God? And if you don't feel any condemnation about anything, you can have confidence in God that you’re doing what's right and if you weren't, He would tell you. Who will you listen to? Your heart, or God?
