For this man I have prayed,
My hero, rock, and love.
I've never been more convinced
He was sent from God above.

For this man I have prayed,
And waited many years.
But God knew he'd be worth my while,
And said, "Child, give me your fears."

With this man I have prayed,
God's will for us to find.
He called me when I would need it most
And calm my anxious mind.

With this man I have prayed,
And cried so many tears.
But we trusted God to give us strength,
and grant us many years.

For me this man has prayed.
It always makes me cry,
To know he cares, to lift me up in his prayers,
I married one special guy.

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them.
