11. Treat Kindly Those That Are Under You

Job 29-31 

If I despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contend with me; What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him? Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb? Job 31:13-15 

God watches how we treat those under us. In Job’s case it was his servants. For us, it could be a sibling, child, grandchild, student, etc. When people under us have a problem with us, what is our response? How do we deal with problems with those that God has made just like he’s made us? Would God be pleased with the way we treat them? What if God treated you like you treat those under you? How would you like to be treated?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
