12. Follow What God Says Is Right, Not Only What You Understand

 Job 32-34

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God. Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they found no answer, and yet condemned Job. Job 32:2-3

When I read these verses, this thought came to mind. Often, we think that everything falls into one category, either conservative, or liberal. What we often fail to forget is that what we believe should fall under the category biblical. Sometimes the views of the conservatives line up with the Bible and sometimes they don’t. Same with the liberal viewpoint. But the Bible is always right and lines up with itself and sometimes it ends up right in the middle of the two views. Why we do what we do and how it lines up with God’s word is most important. What is the condition of your heart and the motive behind your choices?
