2. Follow God's Commandments

Genesis 4-7 

Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.   Genesis 6:22 

Noah did every last thing that God told him to do. No matter how silly or whether or not God told him why.  Do we have an unquestioning obedience when it comes to what God has given us to do? Can it be said of us like it was said of Noah that we have done everything that God has commanded us?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
