28. Trust God To Provide

Genesis 46-47 

And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are come unto thee:     The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle.   Genesis 47:5-6 

Not only did God bring Joseph's family back to him, He also provided for them through Pharaoh. When you’re in a tough spot or when you choose to follow God's will and there seems like no way to carry out what God wants you to do or no way to get out of a tough spot, do you trust God to provide for you and those around you or do you stress and worry about what you’re going to do?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
