44. Our Sacrifices Should Smell Sweet To The Lord

 Leviticus 1-4

And Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.      Leviticus 3:5

God gave instructions as to how the sacrifices were to go. And a couple of times He said that a certain sacrifice done a certain way, would be a sweet savor to the Lord. Today we don't bring animal sacrifices for different sins or rituals, but God does tell us to bring our bodies a living sacrifice to Him and to sacrifice in different areas of our lives for His service. But there is a certain way He wants things done. Are you willing to sacrifice your life for Christ? Do you do it in the correct way? Is your sacrifice an abomination to the Lord or a sweet smelling savor?
