48. Keep God’s Tabernacle Clean

Leviticus 14-15

Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.     Leviticus 15:31

The children of Israel had an actual tabernacle to go to and offer sacrifices and receive atonement. Second Corinthians five refers to our tabernacle as the body God has given us. It is also often referred to as the temple of the Holy Ghost. Do you keep yourself clean? The things you do and say, the places you go? As a child of God, God chooses to reside in us as His tabernacle. What are you doing to keep it clean, to separate yourself from uncleanness so it is fit for the Lord and so you won't die in your uncleanness?
