50. Always Love God’s People

 Leviticus 19-21

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD.   Leviticus 19:18

Sometimes the hardest people to love are God's people. Especially when they've caused great hurt in your life. The easy answer is to tell them off, or hold it against them and hope they'll be miserable when in reality, you will be the one that suffers the most. Despite what others have done, or how you think or feel, you are to love them without getting vengeance or holding a grudge. It often seems impossible but God will never ask you to do something He will not give the grace and the strength for. Will you choose to nurse your wounds and further cause yourself damage? Will you choose to tell people exactly how you feel and how much they've hurt you? Or will you choose to submit yourself to God's command and give Him your hurt, trust Him to repay vengeance, and love them no matter what?
