104. Expect God To Work
1 Samuel 21-24
And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto
the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be
with you, till I know what God will do for me.
1 Samuel 22:3
David brought his parents to a place where they would be safe because he didn't know what was going to happen but he did expect God to work. How do you prepare yourself and others in certain situations? Do you give up or react in fear? Or do you act expecting God to work? If you walk around defeated in every uncertain thing, you are more likely to miss seeing God working in your life. When you expect God to work, you'll see it every time! God wants to do great things in your life and show himself to you but if you doubt Him and start taking things into your own hands, you could miss the awesome work of God and the chance to praise Him for it and give Him the glory! You need to expect God to work in every area of your life, and He will show you great and mighty things that you know not!
