118. Open Your Mouth and God Will Fill It

Psalm 81,88,92-93

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.   Psalm 81:10

Are you hungry? Are you thirsty? Are you empty? Do you have unmet needs? God extends the offer of help if we want it! If you’re not getting what you need, you’re not asking for it. God promises to fill our needs if we go to Him and are ready to receive it. If you doubt His ability you can go back into the Bible and read all the examples He has given of all that He has done for other people. God is more than capable and more than willing to impart wisdom, give help in trouble, or just be there when you need a friend. He has loads of blessings waiting for you if you will but ask. Will you ask?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you?
