122. Dwell With The Brethren In Unity

Psalm 133

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!              Psalm 133:1

Unity among other believers is highly important and greatly valued in God's eyes! So why is it that we can be some of the hardest people to get along with? Some of the most judgmental, critical, unkind people that hurt others are those that claim to be children of God. This ought not so to be. As a child of God, you are to be one of the nicest people that others meet and know. Especially when it comes to those who are your brothers and sisters in Christ. Shame on you if you are the source of others hurt and irritation! You should be the one that others feel safe around. You should be like Christ. Others should be able to depend on you to be there with a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, an encouraging word, and unconditional love. How do others see you? Are you the person you ought to be? Are you the friend and family member that God wants you to be? Can others rely on you to always be truthful yet always love them no matter what?
