133. Thou Art The Man

2 Samuel 11-12, 1 Chronicles 20

And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:   And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.     And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man.   2 Samuel 12:5-7a

Do you get mad about injustices around you? Are you quick to cast judgment on others for different problems going on around you? Do you tell others what you think should happen and what would be right? You get upset about circumstances and the wrong that people are doing and then God says, you're the problem. Ouch! Sometimes you are so busy getting upset about the problems and think that they're much worse than something you would do. You get so busy thinking you know what should happen and how to solve the problems and who should be in trouble that you forget that it could be you and you could be the problem. Before you do or say anything, you need to ask God if you’re the problem and if He wants you to do or say anything or if you should just leave it in His hands and let Him take care of it. Is God saying to you, “Thou art the man”?
