136. God Will Give Peace And Safety In The Night

Psalm 3-4,12-13,28,55

I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.   Psalm 3:5

I will both lay me down in peace and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.   Psalm 4:8

Do you get scared at every noise you hear in the night? Do life problems plague your mind when you’re trying to sleep causing you to be awake late in the night? Are you afraid of not waking up the next morning? There is one who knows everything and will keep you safe in the night. You can sleep peacefully knowing that God knows the problems of your life and He can keep you safe in the night. No matter the protection you have, God is the one who truly keeps you safe. Against all odds God can protect you. You can talk to Him and tell Him everything that's on your mind and He will take your problems and ease your mind and give you sleep. Will you trust God for peace and safety in the night?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you?
