141. God’s Way Is Perfect

2 Samuel 22-23

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.   For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?   God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.          2 Samuel 22:31-33

God's way is perfect. Always and forever. Do you believe that? Even in trials His way is perfect. You can trust Him and He will be your buckler, which is your shield. He doesn't promise a life of ease, but He does promise His protection. He is God, and He is your rock. He will keep you firm and He will protect you from the storms of life. He gives you the strength to overcome trials and temptations and power to accomplish what He wants you to do. You can have God's power flowing through you if you stay close to Him. It is only by His strength and power that you can overcome whatever it is you might face. Will you trust that God's way is perfect and that no matter what, He will be with you and will make your way perfect?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you?
