189. God Will Prosper Those Who Seek Him

2 Kings 15, 2 Chronicles 26

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.     And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.   2 Chronicles 26:4-5

Do you want to prosper? So many people turn to money, jobs, and anything they can to become prosperous. But they also have a different definition of what prospering is. What do you think of as being prosperous? Is being prosperous having plenty of money? Or having lots of things? Is it in having a lot of friends or being held in high esteem by those around you? According to the Strongs Concordance, to prosper is to push forward. And the only reason to be prosperous or push forward is God. What would it take for God to make you prosperous? If you follow the example of Uzziah, you need to seek the Lord. If you seek the Lord, He will be found and He will help you to prosper. Do you seek the Lord? He is waiting for you to find Him and to help you prosper.
