207. Don’t Fear, Trust God

Isaiah 40-43

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.     Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.     Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.     For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.   Isaiah 41:10-13

Are you afraid of being alone? When hard times come, or those around you turn against you, do you feel like there is no one to help? Do you feel trapped in your problems or caught in a vicious negative mind loop? When something scary happens, do you get caught up in panic and fear? There are so many times in the Bible that say fear not, or do not be afraid. Fear is not from God and He doesn't want you to be afraid because He is always there. He doesn't want you to be dismayed, or as we might say, bewildered or confused, because He is your God. God says that He will strengthen, help, and uphold you and take care of all your enemies! He's trustworthy, will you choose to trust Him and not be afraid?
