259. Choose Things That Will Make You Shine Brightly

Daniel 10-12

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.   Daniel 12:3

What are others going to know about me when I get to heaven? This verse says that if I'm wise, I'll shine as the brightness of the firmament. Will I be bright or dim? Others will be able to know if I was wise based on how brightly I shine. How much like the stars will I look? It's based on how many I've turned to righteousness. Others will be able to know if I've brought many or few to Christ. Will I choose to be wise and to be a soulwinner and try to bring people to the Lord?

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you?
