286. Never Assume
Luke 11
But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every
kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided
against an house falleth. If Satan
also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say
that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them
out? therefore shall they be your judges.
Luke 11:17-19
So often we're so quick to point fingers at others and
ascribe blame to them that they are not guilty of. It's so easy to project our
faults and feelings on others and twist our vision so much that we believe it's
actually how they think and feel and what they're doing when really it's just
an assumption based on how we would naturally act or react. Do you find yourself
doing this? Will you pay attention to your thoughts and assumptions towards
others and stick to only what is true and be a good example for those under you
to follow?
