287. Be A Fruit Bearing Christian

Matthew 13, Luke 8

But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.     But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.   Matthew 13:8,23

There are varying degrees of fruit that is borne by different people. The goal though is bearing fruit. Each person is going to bear different fruit and different amounts. Are you a fruit bearing Christian? When you hear the word of God do you understand it and apply it? Can others see the fruit in your life? You shouldn't compare your growth to someone else because you will grow faster than some but slower than others. And you will be growing in different areas at different times as God wants me to. Will you obey the word of God and allow Him to bear fruit in your life?

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you?
