290. Look To Jesus

Matthew 14, Mark 6, Luke 9

But the ship was now n the midst f the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.     And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.     And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.     But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.   Matthew 14:24-27

Have you ever been so blindsided by fear and your situation that you cannot see Jesus, even when He's standing right in front of you? When you’re not looking for Him, it's easy to miss Him in the middle of a storm. Sometimes it can feel like Jesus isn't there but He always is. There is no situation too dark or too hard for the Lord to handle. You just need to make sure He's the one you focus on through all of life. When things get too crazy for you to handle, all you need to do is focus on Christ. He is there, waiting for you to call out to Him. Although He may be hard to see at times, and hard to see how He's working, if you cannot see the Lord, it's not because He's left, it's because you’re looking at the wrong thing.
