347. Work To Have A Conscience Void Of Offence

Acts 24-26

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.   Acts 24:16

Paul says that he exercises himself to always have a conscience void of offence toward God and men. He exercises himself, and exercise is intentional and takes work. Do you work at having a conscience void of offence? To offend is to cause someone to sin. Which could be myself. Are you careful with what you say and do so as not to cause someone else to sin? Are you careful with what you allow in your life so you don't cause yourself to sin? To be void of offence toward God and others should be something you strive for. To sin is to hurt God. Will you purpose to have a conscience void of offence toward God and men?
