355. Go To God For What You Need

Hebrews 1-6

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.     For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.   Hebrews 2:17-18

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.     Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.   Hebrews 4:15-16

Jesus willingly became a human so He could become the payment for our sins. In living a human life, He can relate to all the problems we face because He endured the same pain and suffering that we do. Because of that, He can relate to us and has compassion on us and invites us to come to His throne and share everything with Him that we may obtain mercy and grace to help in our time of need. Do you take advantage of this amazing opportunity? You can go to God Himself and talk to Him and bring anything and everything to Him and He will give me the mercy and grace that you need to get through it. Will you go to Him for what you need?

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you?
