14. God Programmed My Instincts, It’s Not My Smarts

Job 38-39 

Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart? Job 38:36 

Do you claim your wisdom as your own? We don’t “just know” anything. Any wisdom or understanding within us, whether gained or instinctual, is from God. He programmed us with everything we need to know and will continue to supply the wisdom and understanding we need as we need it.

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
