15. Guard Your Thoughts

Job 40-42 

I know that thou canst do anything, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. Job 42:2 

God knows our thoughts. So, why do we think we can hide things from God as long as it’s not visible and nobody knows about it? When we are tempted to believe that only what I say and do matters, we need to remember that God knows what we’re thinking about and that’s just as important as words and actions. How is your thought life?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
