16. Make Me A Blessing

 Genesis 12-15 

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: Genesis 12:2 

Part of God’s promise to Abraham was that he would make him a blessing. Do you want God to use you to be a blessing? If you ask God and let Him work, He can use your life to touch many other lives for His glory! Will you allow God to use you to however he sees fit?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
