16. Make Me A Blessing

 Genesis 12-15

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: Genesis 12:2

Part of God’s promise to Abraham was that he would make him a blessing. Do you want God to use you to be a blessing? If you ask God and let Him work, He can use your life to touch many other lives for His glory! Will you allow God to use you to however he sees fit?

73. It’s Not About You

Deuteronomy 8-10 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.      Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine hear, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.    Deuteronomy 9:4-5 God knew the tendencies and pride of the children of Israel, just as He knows the tendencies and pride of us today. The common denominator? We're all human. We would like to think we get special treatment for one reason or another. Especially if we feel like we've been extra good...especially compared to someone else. But God doesn't compare us with other people. I...

209. Be Still And Know That He Is God

2 Kings 19, Psalm 46,80,135 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.   Psalm 46:10 Are you stressed or in a hurry to see God work in the world around you? How can you convince others to surrender their life in salvation to someone you won't submit to in obedience? It is when you focus on your own life and walk with God that He can be best e...

True repentance?

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.     And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away; intreat for me.    Exodus 8:8, 28 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.      Intreat the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and ye shall stay no longer. Exodus 9:27-28 And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?      And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for e...
