23. Look Back And Remember The Milestones Of God’s Goodness

Genesis 32-34

And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon hi thigh. Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob’s thigh in the sinew that shrank. Genesis 32:30-32

Significant times in life are often marked with milestones. Something to look back on and tell others ot remind them of God’s working in our lives. For Jacob, it was a physical affliction to remind him that he met with God and God changed his life that day. For you, it might be a commitment or a song or even something physical. But let it serve as a reminder of all God has done for you.
