39. Be Prepared To Serve At A Moments Notice

Exodus 28-29 

And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.   Exodus 28:3 

God had prepared those that He wanted for the work of making Aaron's garments. There were specific requirements He had. They had to be wise hearted and filled by God with the spirit of wisdom. Are you willing to let God prepare you to be used at a moments notice for the work that He has for you to do? Are you always ready to serve or will there be missed opportunities because you chose to do your own thing instead of allowing God to do the work in you to prepare you for service?

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
