40. The Bible, To: Us, From: God

Exodus 30-32 

And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.   Exodus 31:18 

When God finished talking with Moses, He gave him two tables of stone that He wrote on with his own finger. Just as God personally gave Moses His word so many years ago, so He has personally preserved them for us! God loved us so much that He used men of God to write down His words and pass them down from generation to generation so that we could have them in our language today! Every word is directly from God, to us! Isn't God good?!

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
