64. Be Zealous For The Lord

Numbers 23-25

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,     Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.     Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:     And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.   Numbers 25:10-13

Phineas was rewarded for his zeal for the Lord in getting rid of sin out of the camp. And he spared the children of Israel from God's wrath. How is your zeal for the Lord? Are you known for your zeal for God? What is stopping you from going all in for God and what He wants you to do? We are to be bold and stand against sin, and stand up for what's right while still loving others and sharing the gospel with them. If God asks you to deal with sin, or to confront others about their sin, are you too afraid? Do you do it in the right attitude?  You should be known for your zeal for the Lord whether you’re confronting sin, or just boldly following Him. Can others see that in you?
