158. Laziness Won’t Accomplish Anything

Proverbs 13-15

The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.     The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.     The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.   Proverbs 13:4,19,25

The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.   Proverbs 15:19

When all you have is desire without doing anything to change things to accomplish that desire, then all you have is the desire without actually getting what it is that you want. Are you lazy? Do you have desires that you want fulfilled, changes you want to see in your life? What actions are you taking to make those changes? If you work hard, your desire will be accomplished and it will be sweet to your soul. And the only way to have food to eat is to be diligent and work hard for it. Will you choose to lay aside your laziness and work for what you want?
