181. When The Battle Is The Lord’s, Let Him Fight For You

2 Chronicles 19-23

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not your's, but God's.   So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.   2 Chronicles 20:15,30

We are in the midst of a spiritual battle. But there are times that God asks us to be still and let Him fight the battle for us. How will you know which battles to fight, and which ones to let God fight for you? By asking Him! Every time a problem comes up you need to pray about it, give it to God, and ask if there's something He wants you to do about it. If God gives instructions, you need to follow them and do what it takes to resolve the problem. But if He says not to be afraid and that this battle isn't yours, but His and He will fight for you, then you need to trust Him with it and deal with your own feelings and attitude about the issue and keep doing what's right while God takes care of the problem. Will you let God fight for you and bring rest to the relationships and situations around you as well as your own mind and heart?
