205. God Will Take Care Of You

Isaiah 35-36

Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.   Isaiah 35:4

It is so easy to be afraid. But God hath not given us a spirit of fear. There seem to be so many wrongs to be righted and so much evil all around that our hearts can easily be overwhelmed with fear. But this verse says that we should be strong and fear not. You can only do that through Christ. And when you focus on Him, He will help you and it is God that will come with vengeance and recompense for the wrongdoers but He will save you. Will you trust God and be strong and fear not? If you love God, He says that perfect love casteth out fear and that you can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth you. You can trust that God will come through for you and save you and that He will have vengeance and give recompence because He said He would. God loves you and will take care of you if you will let Him!

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you?
