212. Keep A Short Account With God

Isaiah 59-63

Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:     But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.   Isaiah 59:1-2

When God doesn't answer your prayers, have you considered that it's not His fault? That maybe there's some sin in your life that is separating you from God? God cannot condone sin. He is more than willing to hear your prayer and to save you out of trouble, but if you’re not right with Him, you won't be able to get ahold of Him when you need to. Is it worth it to hang on to your sin but be separated from God? If you can't learn how to confess your sin and keep fellowship with God, what kind of an example is it to those who you’re trying to reach for Christ? You’re asking them to do the same thing and you need to lead by example. Will you choose to confess your sin and have fellowship with God so you can get your prayers answered and be a good example to those around you?
