247. Leave Vengeance In God’s Hands

Ezekiel 25-27

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;     Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.     And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.   Ezekiel 25:15-17

The Philistines took revenge in to their own hands and they did it out of spite and hatred. Because of that, God says that He will execute His vengeance on them. When God says that vengeance is His and He will repay, He was serious. You need to leave the vengeance and the wrongs that you have endured for Him to do with as He wills and when He wills. If you take things into your own hands, He will take His vengeance out on you. Will you trust God with your hurt and your pain and allow Him to execute vengeance?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them.
