256. Ask God For Direction In Your Life

Daniel 1-3

Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the king's gaurd, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon:   Daniel 2:14

When put in a tough spot, how do you respond? Do you stress yourself out and hyperventilate? Or will you trust God and answer people and face the situation with counsel and wisdom as Daniel did? It saved the lives of him and his friends. In staying calm and asking God for direction, God showed him the answer that he needed. When you don't know what to do or where to go, will you take the time to ask God for direction? Nothing takes God by surprise. He knows what's going on and what you need to do. Will you turn to God and allow Him to show you the way you ought to go?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
