265. The Creator Of The Universe Cares About You

Zechariah 10-14

The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.   Zechariah 12:1

God has a burden for His people. So much so that He's preserved everything we need to know and that He wants us to know in His word. He is the creator of the universe and the one who made us and gave us life and yet He still cares about us enough to die on the cross and leave us instructions on how to have the most abundant life we can live! The question is though, do you follow His instructions? Are you living an abundant life? Are you grateful for His love and care for you?

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life? We might think, that's one of the stupidest things I've ever hear, or I would never do that.
