302. Trust God’s Promises

John 11

Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe thou shouldest see the glory of God?   John 11:40

How many times does God have to say something similar to you? There are so many promises in the word of God yet, how many times are you surprised when God keeps them? Or how many times do you expect Him to answer your way and in your time then complain when you think He hasn't answered at all? When God makes a promise, you can count on it. You can count on Him. Will you trust God no matter what things may look like to you?

72. God Does All Things For Our Good

Deuteronomy 5-7 O that there were such an hear in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, and it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!    Deuteronomy 5:29 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.    Deuteronomy 6:24 God made it clear, and the children of Israel understood that all the commandments that God had given them were for their good and because God loved them. When there are things that God convicts you of, or rules applicable to you from His word, what is your response? Do you understand that He loves you and wants only the best for you? Or do you choose to think He doesn't know what He's doing and wants to keep you from having fun or enjoying life?
