338. Don’t Give Satan An Advantage

2 Corinthians 1-4

To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;     Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.   2 Corinthians 2:10-11

If someone did someone else wrong, Paul said that anything they forgave, he did too. He didn't hang on to hurt for other people because he said that, that would allow Satan to get an advantage of them. That it was one of Satan's devices. Even when those that are close to you get hurt, are you willing to forgive anything that they are willing to forgive? Or do you hang on to a hope of revenge? If so, you need to immediately forgive for their sakes so you don't cause division and allow Satan to use you that way. Will you be ready and willing to forgive, no matter what?
