346. Let The Lord’s Will Be Done

Acts 20-23

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.     And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.   Acts 21:13-14

There are things that God asks of you that can cause your heart to break. Things that bring more tears than excitement. But when it is the will of the Lord, your response should be like those that were with Paul, "The will of the Lord be done." Are you willing to submit to the Lord's will for your life, even if it's not what you want? Even if it'll require more pain and sacrifice than you'd like to endure? Will you trust that even if it costs your life, God's will is best for you and God is worth following?
